The Skin / Our skin is a sponge

The Skin / Our skin is a sponge

Our skin is a sponge!

Our skin is the largest organ that we have as a person and it really absorbs much more than we are aware of.

That is why it is very important that we pay attention to what we then put on our skin every day. Just like shampoo, cosmetics are also full of unhealthy substances that totally disrupt our hormonal balance.

First of all, it is very important to properly examine this list of products:

Which ingredients should I absolutely avoid?

 > Throw it away as the label mentioned: chemical substances such as parabens (incl methyl, propyl, butyl, ethyl)

By using shampoo with parabens you have a greater chance of scalp problems such as irritation, itching, hair loss and some sources even claim an increased risk of cancer.

> Chemicals such as DEA, Tea, Mea (they serve as PH Regulators, preservatives, foam agents, ..)

> Petrolatum

A study shows that women even take up to 2.2 kg per year of makeup and lotions, .. in their bodies. Most products are full of endocrine disturds aka hormone disturbs who have a major impact on our health & skin. So take a good look at what is really in your products and switch to natural cosmetics (and even pay attention here what is in it)

Elimination through the skin

Because the skin is our largest organ, it is also the largest organ of 'elimination'. It must still remove all the waste that our liver and the colon are not removed. Our skin drains a lot of waste through sweat.

For example, you can sometimes notice that your sweat suddenly smells differently when you are stressed, for example. That can be a sign that your elimination roads are blocked and cannot remove it smoothly enough. The skin then tries to get rid of the waste that the organs did not get away.

The skin is then the last place where symptoms of 'drainage problems' then become visible. This can result in Acne, rosacea, eczema,..

However, it is highly advisable not to enter into toxic creams and other treatments. These will usually only make the problem worse in the long term.

What one can do first is to follow a Body Cleanse AKA a purification cure.

You can email me via alison@alsjehaarmaargoedzit.com if you would like to receive the instructions for this 4 -day cleanse. This Cleanse helps the liver enormously to clear the liver and colon and is very good to repeat a number of times a year to support our liver and pancreas and thus also improve our skin. Note that you do this purification if you have the time because your body goes through a detox and this can also entail detox symptoms.

 Cosmetics Landscape

We ended up in a kind of media landscape of cosmetics where all kinds of false promises are sold that would rejuvenate us and make our skin smooth and tight, and we also believe it. While we can perfectly care for and nourish ourselves in a natural way, even with what we have in our kitchen!

How do your skin of course take care of?

cleaning.

Our skin also absorbs many substances from our environment. That is why it is important to properly clean the skin every day.

Use pure for this Misccellar water or a natural oliertier such as our hair face body oil which is a mix of pure jojoba oil and rose hip oil. These also clean and feed the skin at the same time.

>

Never use soap and foaming cleaners on your face.

Hydration.

A super hydration for the skin is hyalonic acid.

By increasing the water content in the skin, hyaluronic acid serum with a high concentration can also reduce fine lines and wrinkles.

Note that you buy a pure hyalonic acid serum, without toxic preservatives.

Hyaluronic acid is very mild for your skin and good for all skin types. Even for sensitive skin that is quickly red or irritated. In fact, one of the reasons why hyaluronic acid is so good for your skin is that it is naturally calming. That means that it is also suitable for acne-sensitive skin.

Herbal sprays.

The Herbal sprays are pure natural hydrolates, the end result of the steam distillation of plant material.  The hydrolate contains the water -soluble ingredients of the distilled plant.

In our range we have specifically chosen these species that are good for the skin & for our hair. Because it is a distilled version, it can really hydrate our hair and skin well.

In addition to hydration, every Herbal Spray also has its own benefits.

Nutrition for the skin.

As for our hair & body, it is also very good to use oil for the face and to spoil the whole body!

We also see this in very old cultures and Ayurvedic traditions.

Every oil has its own benefits and healing capacities.
Castor oil, almond oil, jojoba oil, rose hip oil,. Or our hair / face body oil which is a mixture of Golden Jojoba Oil & Rose Hip Oil and is therefore good for both on face / hair and body to use daily.

Skin / The Rose Cake Mix of if your hair is right

Another super option that actually cleans and nourishes the face and skin in general is the Skin spice mix of AlsjeHaarmaarage.

Due to the soft Multani Mitti clay, the skin is cleaned in a very mild way, detoxed by the lemon zest powder, hydrated by Orange Peel Powder and but also well fed by the pure rose leaf powder.
