All ALS YOUR HAIR IS GOOD pouches are made from 'fabric waste' collected from the cotton industry. The cotton material that would normally be waste is collected and pulverized into fine material. This very old traditional craft is very unique, organic and zero waste.

Process:

After selecting the cotton waste from, among other things, T-Shirts, it is boiled in hot water and ground into a fine pulp.

The next step is 'sheet formation', a thin layer of pulp is pressed onto a frame.

This large wet sheet of 'paper' is then transferred from the screen to a stack of cotton paper press to dehydrate.

After this, each sheet of paper is hung to dry for 14 days. This is a difficult task in the rainy season.

Once dry, the handmade paper is transformed into all kinds of handmade products that are then screen printed, such as the packaging of IF YOUR HAIR IS GOOD.
