NATURAL HAIR RITUAL:

The power of Beyloun clay & Reetha soapnuts

This product is a contemporary hair ritual,  inspired by two centuries-old traditions. Becoming in Asia reetha (soapnut shells) used for generations to style hair cleanse naturally thanks to their vegetable saponins.

In Syria Beyloun clay traditionally used to purify and care for hair and scalp. This set brings these separate traditions together in one simple ritual.

A SYNERGY OF CENTURY-OLD WISDOM This is more than a product; it is a connection between two worlds. In Syria Beyloun clay has been used since time immemorial to purify the scalp while in India Reetha (soapnuts) the standard for natural cleaning. By uniting these two powerful traditions, a blend has been created that honors the best of both regions. An honest, natural method that has stood the test of time.

A NATURAL ALTERNATIVE TO SHAMPOO, FOR ALL HAIR TYPES

Why this ritual is different

This specific blend is a real game changer:

  • Super Crazy Conditioning: The Beyloun clay provides unprecedented softness. It makes your hair extremely smooth and gives a healthy shine.

  • Natural Foam: By simply shaking your mixture in a bottle, the natural saponins (soap substances) are created that provide a pleasant foam.

  • No "Gesmos": Ideal for those who sometimes find herb mixes too complicated. This ritual is quick, clean and extremely easy to use.

Ideal for the active lifestyle

This is the perfect one "on-the-go" natural shampoo. It is your ideal partner for:

  • Traveling & warm climates: Extra refreshing and easy to take with you.

  • After exercise or swimming: Gently removes chlorine and salt. You can also easily take it with you in a bottle.

  • Variety: Use it as a mild refresher between your deeper herbal treatments.

Please note: Although this ritual cleanses and nourishes fantastically, our intensive herbal mixes work even deeper on the scalp (against oily hair, etc.). See this ritual as the perfect daily luxury and the ideal variety.

HOW TO MAKE YOUR OWN SHAMPOO?

  1. Prepare: Do 6–8 soapnut shells along with a piece of Beyloun clay in a jar. For quickly greasy hair, use at least 8 soapnuts!

  2. >(Note: the shells are natural and often broken; use enough particles to make the equivalent of 6-8 whole nuts).

  3. Add water: Add about 1.5 to 2 liters of water. Tip: For a stronger conditioning effect you can add a little more clay.

  4. Pull: Leave the mixture at least 6 hours of pulling, preferably more! (preferably overnight) in a bowl or pan.

  5. Application (2 ways):

        • In the jar: Warm up and leave in the pot, then pour directly over your hair for the most authentic experience.
        • In the bottle: After the mixture has warmed slightly, pour it into a bottle and shake vigorously. A natural, soft foam is created. Super handy for in the shower! (ps: you can also use it cold in summer or in warm climates)
  6. Rinse: Rinse your hair thoroughly with water.

Important: Use the infusion within 24-36 hours of preparation. Discard leftovers and prepare a fresh portion for each use.

A UNIQUE, LIMITED RECIPE

This specific composition is unique and developed by myself after extensive field research in the region. I work in small batches to monitor quality and freshness. Because I source the ingredients myself and process everything manually, each bag is a fair and limitedly available product of my own making.

A PRECIOUS RITUAL IN CHALLENGING TIMES The current situation and the ongoing attacks in the Middle East make sourcing authentic Beyloun clay difficult at the moment. Logistics are unpredictable and access to these natural resources is limited. Precisely because the supply is so vulnerable, I can only offer a small number of pieces at a time. This makes every batch not only fresh, but also a rare tribute to a tradition that we want to honor, despite everything.
